Kandidaten Am 18.Mai 2004 entschied sich die Exekutive des IOC, die folgenden Bewerberstädte in die so genannte short list aufzunehmen, die Liste der fünf Finalisten für die letzte Etappe des Bewerbungsprozesses, aus denen jetzt die fünf offiziellen Kandidatenstädte wurden.  Candidates The IOC EC announced at May 18th, 2004 in its press release the following five cities, which did qualify for the final round in the bidding process. Officially the cities have been named now ”Candidate Cities” and could use now the Olympic rings in the bid logo. • LONDON • PARIS • MADRID • NEW YORK • MOSKAU
